Approach
People complete the picture. While as a trained architect I take joy in pristine, empty space, I know it's not enough. That's why people are at the heart of my work, in visual narratives that bring spaces, places and objects to life.
I'm a London-based architectural photographer and filmmaker. Whether still or moving, my images convey everyday beauty and functionality, commercial value and cultural prestige. They help build legacies.
I approach every commission by first understanding the intention behind the design and what the client wants to communicate. Where a project requires it, I also produce and art-direct the shoot to make sure that the essence of every project comes across.
I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to architecture, design and the built environment, informed by postgraduate studies in architecture in Rome and Paris and photography in London. Before establishing my independent practice, I developed my photographic career in Toronto and spent seven years as the in-house photographer at Make Architects, one of the UK's leading architecture practices.
